MOOSE CREEK – Eric and Samantha Delhey of Delhey Electric LTD and their team have served Eastern Ontario since 2013. Eric Delhey began as an apprentice at 17 and worked for Hydro One Networks before opening Delhey Electric.

The company works on a little bit of everything, including residential, commercial, agriculture and generators. The company employs eight people and specializes in Generac Generators. Delhey Electric has done sales and service for Generac Generators for 10 years, and are factory-trained to work on them for warranties.

Generac automatic response generators detect power outages and restore electricity within seconds. They are streamlined and can run on natural gas or propane from homes’ existing fuel lines, giving families peace of mind when bad weather hits.

The Dehley’s have been at their current location at 14A Labrosse Street in Moose Creek where they built their new office and shop for the last two years.

Delhey Electric recently launched a ‘Recycle My Electronics’ program available during the business’ opening hours. A new partnership has given them the opportunity to become a local depot for electronic and battery recycling. Residents are encouraged to bring by items including but not limited to: display devices, PCs, printers, cameras, drones, audio systems, and more to be properly recycled.

“I got into that because a lot of people have electronics they don’t know what to do with. It’s a service we are offering to the public to help out,” Delhey shared.
