INGLESIDE – In early March, the Ingleside Beautification Committee (IBC)marked four years of working at creating a more beautiful community.  Dedicated volunteers have worked to ensure Memorial Park in Ingleside celebrates the different seasons and events throughout the year.

“The committee is excited to share that we have almost reached our goal for the gazebo project.” commented IBC President Richard Waldroff. He continued how there is still some work to be done due to the cost of the project increasing since it began, but architectural construction designs and drawings have been provided to a contractor for a quote.  Once the quote has been received it will be forwarded to the municipality for approval, with Waldroff commenting “We are very pleased with the design and hope the community will feel the same.”

On behalf of the committee, a “heartfelt thank you” was extended to those who have supported the IBC since it began by Waldroff.  He noted the support has taken many forms including “donations, time, and hard work”, stating “Your support truly makes a difference!”

The next fundraiser for the IBC will be the Community Yard Sale BBQ to be held at 30 Wales Drive during the Ingleside Yard Sales scheduled for June 6. More information can be found on the organization’s Facebook page.
