Chesterville and District Lions Club held a bridge toll for CHEO in Chesterville on Sat., May 28. The club raised $2,625. Along with the Chesterville Lions donation of $500, they will be donating a total of $3,125. The 2022 CHEO Telethon is scheduled for June 5 between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on CTV Ottawa. Carolyn Thompson Goddard, grew up in Chesterville and attended North Dundas District High School. After completing her BA in Political Science at Carleton University she has worked as a medical secretary and library technician. In 2020 she graduated from Algonquin College with a diploma in Journalism and has been a reporter and column writer for The Chesterville Record for over 10 years.
