CRYSLER – Lisa Gratton, full esthetician and spa owner, spent the last decade running The Esthetics Room on Second Street in Crysler. As of April 15, 2026, Gratton and her team began their next chapter at the newly built commercial triplex located at 2 Bridge Street in Crysler. Part of the move included a change in name to Bridge Street Spa.

“Oh my gosh, it’s amazing,” Lisa said when asked how things were going at the new location. “It’s like a breath of fresh air. There’s so much space, so many windows to look out. My team has grown.”

The addition of a hairstylist joining the team in October will bring the number of employees at the spa to seven. The spa offers a full suite of services, including nails, sauna body polishes and wraps, lashes, laser hair removal, massage therapy, facial treatments, micro-needling, micro-blading, skin tag removal, Thai foot treatment, waxing, and more.

Lisa shared that sauna wraps are an excellent service add-on with the colder weather coming. Thai foot massage, a specialty treatment offered by Anick Desnoyers, is a popular one that can help sooth fired feet and improve circulation after a few repeat visits.

Along with her experienced staff, Gratton brings 30 years experience of her own to the table and has a reputation for taking excellent care of her clients. Lisa and a friend were inspired to join the industry when they decided to learn spa techniques to do at home. They took a course, fell in love with esthetics, and the rest was history.

After practicing as a full esthetician for a while, Lisa taught esthetics for 12 years and offered mini-courses at her previous location. When asked what she likes most about her work, she shared:

“Seeing the difference in people’s, say their feet, from when they come in to when they walk out. Seeing dull skin turn to bright, glowing skin. Eyebrows. Especially when some people come in and they don’t have any hair and I give them micro-bladed ones, that’s rewarding.”

Gratton explained that while many of her clients come from Crysler and the surrounding area, others visit Bridge Street Spa from a little father away. Clients come in for pampering from places like Greely, Kanata, Alexandria, Vankleek Hill, and even the States. It makes sense really, considering the scenic drive into town with its windmills and winding roads.

Bridge Street Spa is always accepting new clients and invites the public to come check out their new location. The warm and inviting atmosphere is enough to make anyone feel relaxed!
