For over 25 years, the Firefighter Family Breakfast has provided guests with a full course breakfast, the opportunity to meet the firefighters, learn about fire safety while visiting with friends and neighbours at the Morewood Recreation Centre. Funds raised from the event will be used for repairs at the community ice rink. A table full of information with an emphasis on smoke detectors and the importance of testing it as well as fire safety “swag” was located to the back of the hall for people to purchase.
