On Friday evening, a well attended Winterfest 2025 Yuk-Yuks show on Feb. 7 at the Moose Creek Hall which had close to 200 people enjoying the comedy of Cedric Newman, Chris Quigley and Dan Allaire.

Saturday began with a large selection of indoor and outdoor activities designed to delight people of all ages. These included arts and crafts inside the hall which included cookie decorating, toss the snowball, card making and creating a fairy door with lots of embellishments to choose from, while outside there was the opportunity to skate and play some outdoor winter games. The canteen was open throughout the carnival, with a smores kit available to purchase and use at the self-contained and supervised fire pit near the outdoor rink.

Events like Winterfest 2025 would not happen if it were not for the dedication of organizations and volunteers in the community. Théorêt extended a sincere thank you to the volunteers who helped make the weekend a success, to the Club Optimiste de Moose Creek and to Maxime Quesnel.
