CRYSLER – Approximately 75 tractors participated in the “Tractor Ride Crysler” organized by the Vintage Iron and Traditions of Eastern Ontario held Sat.,  Aug.  20.

“I am very happy with the turnout” commented ITEO president François Latour.  He continued the event featured a tractor ride of approximately two hours which began and ended in Crysler.  Latour explained the route included passing by the seniors’ residence in Crysler, travelling along picturesque roads before returning to Crysler where participants enjoyed a luncheon.

Residents and visitors to Crysler were able to view the antique tractors parked along the Queen Street as well as visit with participants in the tractor ride.  Paul Boubonnais of Sarsfield, who drove a Massey Harris 44 circa 1953 in the event, mentioned how the weather was great for the ride, and with a smile noted how the “air conditioning worked on all of them.”
