CHESTERVILLE – The Rotary Club of Chesterville recognized the contributions to the community of Sawyer, Greg and Brent Vanden Bosch in a ceremony at Vanden Bosch Elevators Inc. on the outskirts of Chesterville on Fri., June 24 by recognizing each as a Paul Harris Fellow.

“They were always there when we needed them” commented Rotarian Martin Derks, shortly after the presentation. He explained how for years they have supported the club in several ways. This support includes the installation of the foundation in the Nation River near the Chesterville Waterfront, dumping the ducks in the river for the Duck Race and providing storage for items such as the club barbecue, snowflakes, and other items.

Sawyer commented how they are “glad to help out the Chesterville community,” with all three recipients mentioning feeling “very honoured” to receive this recognition.
