WINCHESTER—The Peewee B Rep Demons played a pair of home games over the past two weeks as they welcomed the South Grenville Rangers on Jan. 29 and the Perth Lanark Blue Wings on Feb. 5.

The North Dundas Peewee B Rep Demons welcomed the Perth-Lanark Blue Wings to the Joel Steele Community Centre in Winchester on Wed., Feb. 5, in the UCMHL. The Demons went into the game in a second place tie with the Kemptville Royals and had a chance to move into sole possession of second place.
The Demons opened the scoring just 32 seconds into the first period as Josh Lafrance ripped one home from Jay-Zeus Mbarushimana and Patrick Guy taking a 1-0 lead. The Demons took a two goal lead when Merrick Crawford lit the lamp from Ryan Wilson and Nathan Epps at 1:33.
The Demons added to their lead at 4:15 when Gavin Eikelboom scored an unassisted goal and took a 3-0 lead into the second period. The teams battles to a scoreless second period but the Demons made it 4-0 at 6:59 when Wilson scored an unassisted goal.
The Demons didn’t allow the Blue Wings a chance to score and helped their goalie, Kolten Belmonte to a 4-0 cutout victory. With the win, the Demons moved into sole possession of second place with just two games remaining in the regular season.
The Demons outshot the Blue Wings 30-24.

The North Dundas Peewee B Rep Demons welcome the South Grenville Rangers to the Joel Steele Community Centre on Wed., Jan. 29, in the UCMHL. The Demons went into the game in third place in the standings, two points up behind the Kemptville Royals in second and 7 points behind the first place Brockville Braves.
The Demons jumped out to a 2-0 lead into the first period on goal by Josh Lafrance and Ryan Wilson. The Demons added five more goals in the second period including a pair by Jan-Zeus Mbarushimana and singles by Merrick Crawford, Carter Williams and Nathan Epps.
The Rangers put on on the board but trailed 7-1 heading into the third period. The Demons added two more goals in the third period by Markus Bols and Gavin Eikelboom and held the Rangers’ offence off the scoresheet.
The Demons took the game 9-1 and moved into a second place tie with the Kemptville Royals. Picking the helps were Jake webber and Patrick Guy with two each and Mbarushimana, Reid Rankin, Tylor Dunham, Bols, Eikelboom and Crawford all added singles.
The Demons outshot the Rangers 34-8. Picking up the win in the Demons’ goal was Liam Sergeant making 7 saves.
