CHESTERVILLE – The weather was warm but that didn’t stop members of the Chesterville & District Agricultural Society from working with community volunteers to create a 100 x 200 ft. show ring next to the Exhibition Hall at the fairgrounds in Chesterville over the weekend of July 26-28.

The CDAS wishes to thank the many local organizations and businesses that contributed to the success of the project. This includes: Johndin Farms, Badger Excavating, Winchester BMR, Boucher’s Upholstery, Premier Medics, Casselman Farm Equipment, Tom Henderson’s Custom Meat Cutting and Abattoir, Chesterville & District Lions Club, Rotary Club of Chesterville & District, the Chesterville Carnival and an anonymous donation. CDAS president Carol Johnson mentioned her amazement at the number of projects which were completed by the team of volunteers at the fairground and extended her sincere thanks for all who participated.
